Minister Duclos' visit to Brome—Missisquoi
As part of his Quebec tour, Federal Health Minister Hon. Jean-Yves Duclos stopped in our riding of Brome—Missisquoi to meet with health care stakeholders.
We took this opportunity to visit the Centre de pédiatrie sociale en communauté Main dans la main (CPS) in Cowansville. The CPS does a remarkable job of accompanying children living in very vulnerable situations. Jean-Yves and I were frankly impressed by the dedication and human approach of the entire team.
We also spoke with the Claude De Serres Foundation, which works with seniors. Thanks to their services, many seniors are able to rent equipment free of charge to adapt their environment to their changing needs.
Thanks to both teams for the great discussions we had!

Free tax clinics for low-income citizens
This year, three Brome—Missisquoi organizations will be able to benefit from funding granted within the framework of the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). These grants are part of a $10 million envelope, distributed over three years, within the framework of the Canada Revenue Agency's pilot program.
The purpose of these clinics is to help people with modest incomes file their tax returns and help them obtain the benefits and credits to which they are entitled.
With tax season just around the corner and the current economic situation, our government is proud to support organizations that provide services to Canadians who need them most.
Our satellite offices are back!
My team will be out on the field very soon to resume our satellite offices. They will travel to different municipalities throughout Brome—Missisquoi in the coming months to meet with the citizens of our region and offer them the same services as those available at our office, but in your municipality. We bring our expertise close to home!
